The partnership
Through this community partnership, AIS secured:
- 60 complimentary delegate vouchers for CMU-Africa students
- Each voucher valued at $200, totalling $12,000 in access delivered to the community
AIS on stage
Our Club President was invited for a fireside chat at the Forum, one of the region's flagship annual fintech gatherings.
Stephen David, AIS President, joined the fireside chat "Competence as Currency: Cultivating Tech Leadership and Career Pathways in Inclusive Fintech," moderated by Robert "Bob" Okello, Founder of Maarifasasa Limited.
The panel discussed the projects and student-led startups being built within the AIS ecosystem at CMU-Africa, amplifying the club's visibility on an international platform and connecting our members with practitioners shaping inclusive fintech across the continent.
Impact
This partnership demonstrates AIS's growing capacity to secure external institutional relationships that deliver direct, measurable value to CMU-Africa students, exactly the kind of compounding outcome a student-led organisation can build over multiple executive teams.
