What happened
From November 17-21, 2025, AIS supported the Industry Innovation Lab (IIL) in delivering Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 at CMU-Africa.
AIS's role
- Student mobilisation across CMU-Africa cohorts
- Inter-university outreach to ALU, RICA, the University of Rwanda, and other Kigali partners
- On-the-day logistics for sessions, panels, and pitches across the week
Programme
The full week covered:
- Founder-led sessions with operators across multiple sectors
- Panel discussions on the state of African entrepreneurship
- Pitch events and showcases for student ventures
GEW 2025 reaffirmed CMU-Africa's role as a convening hub for entrepreneurship education in Kigali, and AIS's role as the student spine that makes large weeks like this one work.
